Lately on Saturday’s I would head down to National City to ZARLITO’s a family owned Filipino/ Mexican fused restaurant. Well anyways after getting some brunch with my friends I drove further south to J&V Automotive to see what was going down with the J&V x DeadEnd Magazine gathering. It was a great event, with a bunch of classics, bombers, and rat rods. Weather was nice and the location was perfect which made it a nice chill environment for anyone. A lot of crews from all over Cali came down to the event and I got a chance to meet some guys from Dead End which was rad!! Anyways on to the pics, Enjoy!
The shop was opened to view and they had some really nice shirts for sale, I picked up a few things.
This photo was taken a little later in the day, a few people left but it shows you that there were cars parked on the streets and the shop is in the corner.
Andy Ruiz, a local from here in San Diego repping Ilegales !
This shirt caught my eye! Its the Cal Flavor event shirt. Cal Flavor was an event held a month of two ago in Japan featuring USDM cars with a mix of old school rats, bombers, and low riders. I was suppose to fly out to the event since I was suppose to be a sponsor of the event. Funds were tight at the time and I couldnt make it out, wouldve been awesome! But I got a chance to meet these guys they were really chill and we clicked right away since we had things in common and knew the same people.
I love this Plaque, it explains pretty much what im trying to do with this blog is to show people life in San Diego. I dont post much but I’ll try my best to post up more about San Diego, food, life, automotive, and etc.
My good friend David from Ilegales.
Some bikes showed up and displayed them next to some beautiful cars.
Another view looking south of the street the event was held at.
Ending this blog post with this picture. It was a great event and it is different from other events I’ve been to. I’m trying to capture the lifestyle and culture of this scene, especially living here in San Diego I’m honored to be involved in this scene in a way.
